The Spirit Brat Podcast
Spirit Brat is my story of stumbling into mystical experiences I did not ask for, and the real-world chaos they prepared me to face. Along the way, I wrestled with an undiagnosed dissociative disorder and tried to make sense of it through psychology, Buddhism, Hinduism, yoga, Catholicism, the LDS Church, and New Age circles. None of it went in order, and none of it was neat, but all of it shaped how I survived a coercive relationship with a Special Warfare veteran who later admitted he was hunting me.
This podcast is not just about survival. It is about how the divine kept showing up in my life, even when I had no reverence, and even when religions contradicted each other. Spirit Brat is where mystical awe meets blunt honesty, and where spiritual highs crash into the gritty reality of what it takes to keep living. I am proof that when the Gods matter the religions don't.

What happens when you hack your own autopilot into a mystical collision? In this episode, I unpack how I unknowingly set up the moment a simple handshake with a seminarian turned into a neurological, mystical shockwave. Years of meditation, trauma, and cognitive dissonance collided in an experience that forced me to confront the limits of ego, attraction, and belief. No reverence, no bliss- just raw recalibration in real time.

A live identity crisis: mystical events that felt real, a seminarian who “lifted me to the Lord” then ghosted, and the fallout of coercive abuse. We map derealization, moral injury, and a plain-language take on “reconciliation” as behavior/neurology—asking what trust looks like after harm. TW: religious trauma, coercive control, drugging, dissociation, explicit language.
